Fishing games are the arcade corner of the lobby. Instead of pressing spin, you aim a cannon at moving sea creatures and each shot costs a stake. They look relaxed, yet spending adds up quickly because shots are constant. This hub explains the mechanics, the common features and how to pick a title. We do not state return rates or game counts; check each game's info screen.
How a fishing game round works
You pick a cannon level, which sets how much each shot costs. Fish swim across the screen, and you aim and fire. If a shot hits, a reward is added according to that fish, and the stronger the fish, the harder it is to catch. Smaller fish are easier and pay less; special bosses pay more and take more shots.
Because every shot has a price, the pace of play controls your spending. Watch the shot count and the balance, not just the screen animations.
Features you will meet
Most titles share a toolkit. Power-ups may freeze fish, spread shots or add special weapons for a short time. Some fish trigger chain reactions that hit others nearby. Bonus bosses can appear with extra rewards. Every game defines these features in its help screen, which is the only reliable source for how they work.
Studios differ: we saw JILI, Spribe, PG Soft, JDB and Fa Chai in the KG999 lobby on 5 November 2026, and fishing-style games may come from more than one of them. We cannot confirm exactly which titles are on offer today.
Titles with their own guides
These pages describe how each game style plays, in general terms, and where to check specifics.
- Ocean King: the classic style that many fish games follow.
- Jackpot Fishing: a JILI title with jackpot features.
- Royal Fishing: a JILI game with bigger bosses.
- Dinosaur Tycoon: a prehistoric theme with large targets.
- Best fishing games: how to compare titles for your style.
Playing it sensibly
Start at the lowest cannon level to learn aiming. Raise it only if your budget allows, never to recover a loss. Because rounds are quick, set a time alarm. If you also like slots, our slots hub shows how those differ in pacing, and the bonus overview explains why some promotions exclude fish games, so check the terms. For general tools, see the responsible gaming page.
| Cannon level | Cost per shot | Effect on your session |
|---|---|---|
| Low | Smaller | Longer play, slower swings |
| Medium | Moderate | Balanced; watch your balance |
| High | Larger | Fast swings; budget runs out quickly |
